But.considering that Apple was going to charge 1240 to fix things.and a 100 working logic board usually costs 350+. 100 working replacement/used logic boards for 2011 MacBook Pros can generally cost 350 and up. The CPU seems locked to 800 Mhz under any load I can throw at it. This was actually a very very good price. This, however, will not permanently fix the problem. I realize I should have been more specific. If you take the machine into an Apple Store, they will recommend a logic board replacement.
